Competitor HTML Analysis

Advantage And Benefit

HTML is a mark-up language that uses tags to structure text into headings, paragraphs, lists, and links. It tells a Web browser how to display text and images. This is the foundation to superior search engine rankings. We carefully analyze the text, HTML and various tags of your website and that of your competitors to make certain you have the best design to optimize these features. This is imperative to securing a large segment of the market for your site. Here is a small overview of what we inspect:

•  HTML Tags. The position of your keywords in your Web page and Title tag is important. We study how you and your competitors are prioritizing HTML tags for easier indexing.

•  META Tag. Your Meta tags should have a lot of keyword density and no double spaces in between your words. We scrutinize the amount of commas, spaces and keyword usage on your site and your competition's.

•  META Description Tag. We determine if your Meta Description tags and your keywords are configured properly to give more relevant information about your company.

•  TITLE Tag. We inspect the keyword phrases in your (and your competitors') Title tag. Several search engines use keywords in the Title tag as a major part of their algorithms. We recommend that you include the Title tag FIRST on the page and that you optimize each of your pages with unique keywords for better indexing.

•  Keywords in Body of Text . Many engines look at your first paragraph for Keyword relevance. By carefully wording the text in your first paragraph, you can add to your Keyword relevancy. Some engines will also check the last paragraph of the body of your text. We review all of it.

•  Text Size. We study what you and your competition are doing with your website text. Pages heavy with text in a small font size may not get listed. Avoid using font size lower than 2 pt as the dominant size for your body copy. Never use white text, or same color text to hide Keywords. You will trigger a "spam" filter and run the risk of being banned from an engine.

•  Keywords in Your IMAGE Tags, ALT Tags & Hyperlinks. Some engines will look at your Image and ALT tags as part of their Algorithms. One way to take advantage of this is by renaming your IMAGE tags with your Keywords. An ALT tag is the text that is displayed in your browser over a hyperlink as the mouse rolls it. We assess everything you and your competition are doing with these tags . Some engines will also look at the words in your Hyperlinks for added relevancy. You should be naming several of your Web pages with your Keywords and Keyword phrases. We also assess what your competition is doing in this area.

•  H1 Tags to Boost Relevancy. Some search engines will give words found in your "H1" tag a boost in relevancy. We will demonstrate how you can get both a boost in relevancy and get better control of your page's appearance in one easy step.

•  Revisit tag. Revisit tags will instruct some Search Engine robots to revisit your site at specified intervals. We fully go through the usefulness of this tool with you
